Often when we travel, the thought of the destination is just a fragment of the imagination that we hope to experience. The mind travels to sugar sand beaches, snow-capped mountains, sunny skies and perfect weather. However, the reality is, once we get there, factoring in the fees, culture and people are included in the totality and can either hinder or enhance the experience we thought we were going to have. Whether we pay this for this in actual currency or experience; like a chit or a bill that comes to the table after dinner, we have to keep in mind the tax and tip. What taxed you on this journey and what were some of the gratuities that you would consider priceless? Through my journeys throughout the globe, I encourage you not to forget about the tax and tips that should be considered to make your trip just as great if not better than mine.
